The trip was fun, and... truth revealing. Some preconceptions of mine were overturned, others ended up being confirmed. About my impressions and experiences however, in future posts. No putting it off now. Tomorrow morning, it's road trip time!</p> <p class="MsoNormal">I have a well plotted out route… kind of… Well, I don’t really. Thanks to the EU’s no-visa/no-passport policy (at least through the countries between Romania and Italy), we, a people who’s laziness has withstood the test of Time, can afford to almost totally eliminate this most annoying step of any road journey: route planning. Basically, we’re mostly going to sway from town to town, following the grazing grounds of the female “species”: the outlet shops. Expect rough country, with Hungarian border guards and traffic cops, not to mention psycho Romanian truck drivers coming at us from all directions… European safari! The thrill of the open road!
